Visiting Spain, Again

Just returned from Barcelona yesterday. It wasn't the first time in Spain but my first in Barcelona. Everyone I talked to before going told me how wonderful of a city it was and how captivating it is.  Indeed Barcelona was special but somehow I'd imagined something different. I didn't expect it to be as big nor as dense with people. The city is quite alive with movement particularly at night. Somehow, I thought a little of Manhattan what with all of the people and tourists, but it certainly has a different character than the Big Apple.
